My grandparents went on a cruise once. It was an anniversary gift to themselves.
My grandmother wanted to be adventurous so she went and got her hair braided. I can honestly say that for the first time in my life I looked at her and decided that, if anyone asked, she was my Aunt Ruth and had just been released from a mental institution. She looked like Queen Latifah's character in the film "Set it off."
She is a beautiful woman. Maybe it wasn't her fault. It may be that weaves have an age limit.
Weaves do have nine lives however.
Just ask this women.
